Teen Tech Program

Empowering secondary school students with critical technology skills. Delivered directly in schools by trained facilitators, Teen Tech uses interactive, student-centered lessons to demystify AI and promote online safety.

Program Overview & Mission

The Teen Tech Program is an educational initiative designed to empower secondary school students with critical technology skills. Delivered directly in schools by trained facilitators, the program focuses on preparing students for a digital future through interactive, student-centered lessons that demystify technology and promote online safety.

AI Learning Modules

The AI curriculum focuses on practical exposure, everyday tools, and the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence — delivered across six key lessons.

Explores everyday AI-powered applications (search engines, voice assistants, writing helpers, and study apps) and how to use them wisely.

Teaches how machines learn from data, covering patterns, training, and prediction behind recommendation systems and filters.

Looks at how computers "see" (image recognition, face detection, and object identification) and its use in self-driving cars or photo filters.

Delves into text generation and how Large Language Models (like ChatGPT) work, teaching students how to use them responsibly.

Introduces text-to-image tools (like DALL·E and Midjourney) while exploring concepts of creativity, copyright, and deepfakes.

Examines why AI can be unfair, how bias enters algorithms, and how to build more ethical, inclusive technologies.

Cybersecurity Education

The Cybersecurity track covers both theoretical knowledge and active, hands-on learning to help students securely navigate the internet.

What They Learn

Explores what cybersecurity is and why protecting digital systems is essential.

Teaches students to spot phishing, malware, scams, and suspicious links.

Focuses on best practices for secure browsing, strong passwords, and device updates.

Highlights how to respond to cyberbullying and what it means to be a respectful digital citizen.

Teaches students how to safeguard personal information, adjust privacy settings, and protect their online reputation.
